54-inch metal around the pool, picket spacing to code. Self-closing, self-latching gate with the latch mounted high on the inside so it passes inspection first time.
Old wood gate had dropped and dragged the walk. Rebuilt it on a welded steel frame with an anti-sag cable, reset the hinge post plumb, and it latches soft on its own now.
